Initiative Poverty and Environment (IPMA), is a joint effort between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations
Environment Programme (UNEP). The IPMA
provides technical and financial support countries to integrate the linkages between poverty and environment into national and sub-national development planning. Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, the program is currently present in regions of Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC
). The integration of environmental processes development, requires identifying the specific linkages between environmental variables and poverty - including the effects of extreme -weather events and based on them, identify policies and programs that can help improve simultaneously environmental management
and social life . The main focus of the Initiative is influencing national plans, budget processes and sector strategies in order to ensure greater efficiency , or is, the more impact by unit of investment- environmental and social policies. The ultimate goal of this effort is to improve the quality of life of the neediest groups by using skip hire Liverpool
